Nadeem bro. 

You are absolutely right , i have also told the same thing that conversion is possible but it is just a master degree of business studies and can be used to get the knowledge of business field.

the thing that i would like you to tell are that MBS is without specialization. it is just the master in business studies, not the business administration. although it is a 2 years prgram and equal to MBA 2 years.

i think conversion of MBA 2.5 to MBA 3.5 years is not possible as VU has also ceased the admission in Old MBA programs and just giving admission in MBS or MSBA. but you may ask your querry to mbaadmissions@vu.edu.pk and studyprogramechange@vu.edu.pk

If MBS is without specialization then it will be considered a simple master degree. It couldn’t be compared with any MBA either 2 year or 3.5 year. Because MBA 2 year is also with specialization and industry demands the specialized persons for their specific departments. In this scenario how can a simple MBS adjust? So, it is advised that don’t convert your MBA 3.5 year to MBS. Anyhow new comers have the option to choose!
